So when I first heard that Michael Bay is going to direct the up coming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, i was worried.
for one, his movies suck. Explosions....ooooooo GET TO THE CHOPPER!.

sorry, he's an "okay" directer.
I just felt he's gonna allow so much Hollywood crap to seep in this film just like the animated crap hole "TMNT"
by the way, acronyms for this is gay, stupidly gay.

but now, Bay has stated that he is going to make the turtles from an alien planet......you son of bitch.
ALIENS! are you joking? that is super stupid, mega retard stupid.

Bay says "Fans need to take a breath, and chill. They have not read the script. Our team is working closely with one of the original creators of Ninja Turtles to help expand and give a more complex back story. Relax, we are including everything that made you become fans in the first place. We are just building a richer world."

Okay, I'll take a breath.....(breath in and out)
You are right, you do need to find a way to tell us (the viewer) a convincing story that is believable and worth watching.
But hearing this that the turtles are aliens, after YEARS of knowing it was a chemical reactions (basing this off the the 1987 cartoon and first two movies) this makes us very uneasy.
Sure, originality is key, we don't want to be fed the same thing twice when it comes to a story.
but making such a change has put us back to square one.

to me, making something like this, a creature that we can't explain how it came to be or how it got here is a terrible scape goat plot.
It's like the Indiana Jones movie the crystal skull.
Aliens do not make a story better, the first three films were great because we could believe it. What made Raiders of the Lost Ark so awesome was we could believe this was an actually possibility. and the way it was delivered pumped us up.
Maybe this could happen, maybe we can find the Ark of the Covenant like Jones did.
not saying we'll ever believe turtles can walk like humans can, but i DID believe there were in the sewers out side my house.
because nothing gave me the impression that the story was super fake.

And that is why the animated movie sucked, is was soo far out there that we had to chuck it up as magic.
Raiders of the Lost Ark played that off at the very last part, but they didn't rely on it.
Crystal Skull was constructed almost the same way, but there were parts that took us out of the believability factor enough to dislike it all the way through. And then seeing they were aliens pushed most people too far to accept this crap.

So what it gets down to is, this is a risk Michael Bay is taking. Go ahead and take that risk, but you, as a director have to tell the story well. We are holding your reputation as a director now, and I am not impressed. Your telling me about this change and it makes your case worse. I had the last movie to think about and my expectations are almost zero.
And if you can't do better then "Fight the Foot" which was a fan made film, I feel sorry for you.

P.S. here's a hint why the fan vid was good,.............IT WAS BELIEVABLE.
